Just finished reading this book called little bamboo. This is  a story about how a family escaped from Vietnam during the war time back in 1970s and their  journey migrating to Australia and settled down there.

So happened last week i missed the bus to go work in the morning, hence i dropped by a Vietnamese bakery store to buy breakfast since i have to wait for another minutes for the next bus.The shop owner asked me where i am from.then she told me she was camped in Malaysia  for few months while waiting for the Aus's gov to take them in.It totally relates to the book i was reading because Malaysia was the main station/refugees campsite  for the Vietnamese. Many of them stayed in Malaysia for months before granting permits to other countries.

After reading ,it  ignites me to treasure my family more than ever.At least, we dont have to go through the suffers and hardships of escaping to other countries.Because of the war, the writer's family were separated and scattered in all parts of the world, some in Aus,Canada and the USA.Nonetheless, they were considered the lucky ones as none of her family members died during the escaped.

Went to another rave party on Saturday night with my colleagues and some friends from church.was kinda of disappointed with Armin! supposedly this should be the best rave events ever!but but it all ended up to be just an average or below average one.Music wasn't great, more to say the theme was called 'INTENSE',it wasn't  intense at all.

This is the best part of the night! but it didn't last long

Oh yeah,is public holiday on Monday-QUEEN BIRTHDAY!
caught up with Su sian in the city n went to meatball and wine for lunch as the restaurant i was planning to go was closed due to public holiday. We didn't really do much, mainly just walked around the city.

 my favorite dish -Pork sliders
This time around we picked the white creamy sauce instead of the usual tomato red paste

Spotted a graffiti artist spraying his art work on the wall
this is how they looked like..stylish outfits with colorful New balance/Adidas shoes

PS:
Not sure anyone of you're aware that restaurants charge an additional 15% of the total bills because is a public holiday.I guess next time i would just stay at home during public holiday to avoid all the extra charges:(....typical accountant mindset=rational ...lol
