sometimes i ponder if it is worth spending so much of efforts, time and money into something you really wanted ?

Im at the cross road once again. When i looked back,it seems like i have been placing too much focus on the what i want and because of this,i have sacrificed many things and opportunity given..

Many will think it is a foolish decision. but to me i think its worth it.Though i have not seen the result of it yet,i believe One Day it will be a dream come true.

I can be quite stubborn at times,if i already set my mind or determine on something ,im willing to give up almost all i have ...really thank god for my supportive and lovely parents. Without you guys i wont have made it so far and have any courage to make these crazy decisions and led an absolutely different path than anyone else.

Sometimes or most times i feel guilty because as the eldest i did not fulfilled my duty of helping out in the family .I know im selfish and self centered, but thank you for  being so understandable, supportive and always allowing me to pursue what i want ..really hope that one day, everything will come to an end and im able to spend quality time with the family.

Throw Back to last weekend

How is everyone doing this week? TGIF .

Past two weeks was rather a hectic week for me.Friend came over to visit,so every night i sleep very late,n on both consecutive weekends we were out in some small town. Not only that, work was kinda stressful as i was doing the GST which is what i hated most..I could see the stress pimples popping out on my forehead and dark circle around my eyes.

Thank God,this week i could finally recuperate at home and have some relaxing moments with my cousin.

So we were at a wild park and  Sovereign Hill last weekend. This is probably the only tourism attraction i haven been in Melbourne. The experience in Sovereign Hill Ballarat is unforgettable. The moment i stepped into it, it gave me the feeling of going back to the 1850s.It is a small town itself with costume ladies walking around in the town, horse carriages crossing the road, and some soldier parade.

Below are some pictures taken in the wild park.

We are back to the nature. The park is rather small compared to Heasville or Melbourne Zoo,but i think it is still a good place for kids as kangaroos can be seen everywhere in the park. You get to feed and pat kangaroos too :)

can you see the baby kangaroo in the pouch

A selfie of us at Sovereign Hill

The kids were searching very hard for gold dust in the river. As for me,i was too lazy to look for gold nuggets.Cuz all i could see in the river were just pebbles and sand.

Anyone wants some char siew pau??
This is the Chinese grocery store left from the gold rush.
Everything here is well preserved and maintained.

The day did not just end in Sovereign hill. The tour bought us to Anne vineyard on the way back to the city.Winny bought home 2 home brewed wines for her family back home.As for me,i went home with good memories ...

At night we went to Hayden's house party for few hours just to give some support to Jason...i have to say he did well!..i suppose the night went wild with the accompany of Americans.lol.  i did learn some new games from them! shall play it in our next house party:)

Looking forward for Wednesday

I just cant wait for tomorrow to come because Wednesday is a pay day! Need to clear off all my debts

Past 2 weeks was a struggle for me because i over transferred my money into the deposit account which leads to cash flow problem. As i don't want to lose my interest i had to seek for help to pay off my unexpected expenses.. just so you know i usually have really good control of my finances just not this time:(

Initially i had enough to cover all my expenses, who knows last minute Deborah asked me to pay for her CPA exam fees as well. My everyday account is just sufficient to pay for my own fees, even if i wanted to use my other account to pay for Deborah's fees i couldn't too because my daily limit is only 1k. Luckily God sent a lovely angel (Mandy) to help me!Really appreciate your generosity and kindness.Hope this wouldn't happen again.

At least now i know how it feels like waiting for the next pay check! I have been counting down the days waiting for tomorrow to come. One more day to go and i will be debt free:)

ps: Still contemplating should i apply for a cc

Day Trip at Macedon Ranges

Just a short update here, last Saturday I took the courage to drive to Macedon ranges in the northen part of Melbourne. After so many years here, this is my first time driving for 2 hours from the city to country side. All thanks to my cousin and friends that have the faith in my driving skills.Without your support i dont think i would dare to be at the driver seat.

our one and only group pic of the day:)

hehe..only the 2 of us are brave enough to climb up the mountain top for the good view

Have you heard of LENTIL AS ANYTHING?

It is a restaurant runs based on donation.Basically you can pay any amount you desire for the meal . At the end of the meal ,there is a huge donation box where you can donate your money in.Even if you dont pay for it,it is totally fine! Personally, this is not the kind of food towards my liking, but for the experience wise its totally worth going!

Cycling along Yarra Rail

The sunday that just passed went really well.Apart from the usual routine to church in the morning,i went cycling in the city.

At Jet's apartment car park
I'm all ready for the ride.hehe.
fully dressed up

Is my first time cycling in 7 years so for the first 5 to 10 minutes i wasn't very confident especially cycling along swaston st where there are plenty of trams and people around. Slowly i started to get the hang of it and able to keep my pace with Jetro.

We were cycling along yarra trail- the park besides federation square.I have never realized the entire park is so huge ,and it leads to Gardiner park in Burwood. The 2 hours ride has shown me many beautiful places in melb which i have never been before. We saw lots of beautiful mansions along the river, these are really every girl's dream house to live in.Just imagining the huge wardrobe is more than enough for me to mesmerise. .My favorite part of the day was cycling on the trail built on the river ,so basically we were surrounded by water...ohhh not to forget,we found some rock climbing walls under the bridge as well..

On our way back to the city

the day ended with steamboat at home and board game together with Jo and Russell. It took us more than 1.5 hours to end one round as we were figuring out how to play the game because none of us knows how the game works.

healthy way to spend the night is to play
'
'Gloom'

Who has a bad day?
Just play this,i guarantee it will make you feel better after playing .lol

Family Reunion in Melbourne

Aunty Wei is down in Melbourne visiting us again. Im always looking forward for her visits because whenever she n uncle come they will definitely cook us sumptuous meals everyday.

So on Sat,Aunt Brenda and her family came over our place for lunch.Brenda made us a big lunch and i was in charged of the dessert which that is what im good at. Basically we were just spending the whole afternoon catching up at home since is so cold outside.

My kiwi and strawberries tart

At night we went for a lebanese dinner at lygon st cuz Ness is working there pt.On Saturday night therestaurant usually have belly dance as part of their entertainment. It was a good experience as it was my first time watching belly dance!

As usual,Brenda always like to order plenty of dishes which can feed double the amount of people dining. As a result,we always have leftovers, which is kind of wasted but luckily this restaurant allows us to pack the food home.

Brenda's new added family-Morby
he is serious black in colour, can you figure whre Morby's eyes are?
