Mamasita

As many of you know,i love food.that why i love cooking,baking and trying out new restaurant whenever i have the chance. Mamasita would sound familiar to those who live in Melbourne.Heard of this place ample of  times but yet had the opportunity to visit because they are always packed.As you know im a person who doesn't like to queue for food even thou i love food so much

This time round is because Jia yu was queuing up for me cuz she was early in the city.Thank goodness i didn't have to wait for long to get a seat.Probably i have put  high expectation for them due to all the good reviews.The interior of the restaurant wasn't really towards my liking,we had to sit along the bar table side by side on the tall stool is just not as comfortable as cushioned chair.

The two of us ooh and ahh over the menu wondering what was it exactly stated on the menu.All the dishes name look  new to us.At the end we just looked up the most useful app URBANSPOON for the dishes we wanted.One thing i have to mention was the service of the restaurant .Service was really good,staffs were friendly and helpful and food served pretty fast without us waiting for long too.

The corn cob was super yum,usually i dont like to eat corn but i have to admit the taste was  beyond description.

 The pork belly was my favorite,incredibly tender,the meat and fat  just melted in the mouth.  The puree had a special taste as well and blends so well with the meat and all the herbs.

Would love to come back again if i have the extra money but i guess it will be a very long time i will be back for the 2nd time as it it a bit too pricey.We ordered 3 tiny dishes and it costs us $60.After the dinner ,i was still hungry and we end up going to Max Brenner for dessert fill up our hungry stomach.
