Saturday in the city

Here we are at Princess Theater for the show The King And I.The day started off chaotic as Mandy and i reached the theater just in time 2.00pm sharp for the show, while Anna  was running late for like 15 minutes so she missed out the first 15m of the show.

The show was incredible. The costumes and settings were so colorful with pops of yellow and gold.As for the singing ,it was good as well, but if you compared with Wicked probably it comes second. Most of the singer are Asian or mixed Asian because this story is based in the Siam(Thailand) palace. The cutest part was to see all the little kids dancing and running around you be surprised some of them were as young as 3 year old!

This is the theater,we were sitting at the back of the most ground level.

Pic taken during the 15m inter-break

We finished the show at around 4.45pm and we walked all the way from Parliment to finders to meet up  with Krystle for early dinner.Krystle is LSCC newbie from Malaysia. Finally we got the chance to ask her out and have some fellowship together:)

With me around pics will be taken everywhere we go..lol.

I have been upbanspooning the entire week to find out where to go for dinner for this catch up.We wanted something more exotic than our usual comfort food(Asian cuisine) so i found out about this pretty new German restaurant at Southgate Ave and decided let this place be the honor

Please forgive me for my poor photographer skills

All sorts of mustard to go with our meal

This place is famous for their drinks.None of our are really drinker so we decided to go for their beer tasting paddle. This paddle comes with a really good deal.4 for $10 only!I will definitely be back for their drinks.all of them taste really good.Usually im not really keen on beer but surprisingly these are good!

The food for the day:)
Something special for me was the Spatzle(the salad on the right)its my first time trying it!I even goggled what it is Spatzle.

here comes the explanation from internet:

Spatzle:Is it a soft egg noodle made with flour, water and salt.A traditional German dumpling boiled or broth then pan fried with butter.

Dinner wasn't enough for us,so we head to Cacao green for yogurt ice cream. We got all 4 flavours(Black sesame, chocolate, original and Green tea)

That's the end of my Saturday
