Snow Trip at Falls Creek

How is everyone's week been.Mine is rather stressful and yet fulfilling.

Lets stop thinking of the stressful part(leaving melb) and try focusing at the happy moments.

Last Friday, was a bit of rush for me even though i leave work at 4 pm. After reaching home,i still had to immediately rush out to Southern cross with my luggage as Johnny is picking me from there.

so we all gathered at our meeting point, the house in Kensington! I just felt so good hanging out with these group of people. We all came from different backgrounds, and get to know each other from our acquaintance but yet i feel comfortable around them.Really blessed to have known them and catch up every now and then ..
ok,let me start blogging on my journey to Falls creek. We drove about 4 hours to BRIGHT from Melb as we were staying in Bright.Falls creek is another 1.15 hours away. This is my first overnight stay somewhere near the snow mountain. In the past i usually go on one day trip and the further i been is usually not more than 2 hours..

The first day,i didn't go up the mountain.I stayed back to explore the town at Bright. We did 600 m trail walk to Huggins lookout in the afternoon and spent the evening playing card games at our little cottage.Ding being the only guy that didn't go up the snow mountain, was the driver and chef for the day! He really did a great job.imagine cooking vegetables curry ,beef rendang, and 2 other dishes  for 13 hungry people it is really not an easy task.

Game time after dinner.

initially i didn't wanted to do any snow activity this time round because im really poor at the moment. But after looking at the pics and video they took on the snow mountain, my will power wasn't strong enough.I was tempted and decided to try snowboarding on the second day.

this is the reason i was tempted to go on snowboarding the next day.

The weather on 2nd day  was  terrible, very cold and windy. The moment i got off the chair lift,i couldn't see much as the fog was too thick. The sight in front of me was plainly white and blurry..No sight of human or moving objects can be seen 250 m ahead of me.

to be honest,i didn't quite enjoy it as much as i think it would be.cuz the weather was so bad.Furthermore,it was my first time snowboarding.Learning new things under a not so conducive environment just made it worst!

Nevertheless, its so nice of Andrew for spending time teaching  me how to snowboard at the mouse track.if you have seen or have taught a toddler how to walk, you would have imagine the whole scenario. I literally couldn't stand still on the snowboard for the first 2 to 3 rounds. The moment he tries to let go and let me skii, within 3 secs i fall flat on the snowfield .was rather embarrassing with all the awkward moves, but  at least i try. After trying ,now i know snowboarding is not my kind of sport, would just do skiing in the future.

After lunch,i was persuaded that i should go for Rapunzel (the real steep mountain).I totally couldn't make it down the mountain foot. Veronica was the one leading me this time round, she holds me by her side to ski down the mountain ,i guess i was too scared and i kept falling .A the end,we had to sit on our snowboard and ski down the mountain.

If i know how to snowboard this would definitely be super fun!it was envy looking at all the skier skiing down the mountain slope freely as though they owned the mountain.
We are all ready to go up the mountain

This is Andrew who taught me how to snowboard.we cant even open our eyes cuz the snow n wind were too strong
